My home in Mount Ayr was built in 1916. Rewiring one of these old homes requires a skill set that most electricians don't possess. Jason Jackson has been rewiring old homes for 25 years and is an expert. Jason took the time to answer my questions and gave me several options tailored to my specific situation. I learned a lot from him about my old home. Before you buy that old house, have Jason do an inspection to assess exactly what you are buying. If you have already bought that old house, get it updated. They replaced everything in my home from where the power enters the home forward. They are very detail oriented and did a tremendous job. The value of my home has substantially increased. It is easier to sell an old home that has been rewired, complies with code and you have the documentation to prove it. I sleep better at night knowing my wiring isn't going to kill me or burn the house down.
